Equestrian The UCSC Equestrian Team is part of the Intercollegiate Horseshow Association which is part of USA Equestrian. They are in Zone 8, Region 1. This year’s competitions have already begun and the team is hanging in there with the big schools. People interested in the team must have former experience. Team members train at local stables and practice at least once a week. Some team members house their own horses at local barns.
